It's a day that calls for better healthcare access, skilled birth attendants, and mental health support for mothers. With high maternal and newborn mortality rates, the campaign urges global action to ensure safer pregnancies and healthier futures.

17 March - 23 March 2025 :听Sign Language Week, marked as an awareness week for British Sign Language (BSL) and Irish Sign Language (ISL), is celebrated annually in March to commemorate the first time BSL was acknowledged as a language in its own right by the UK Government on 18 March 2003. It aims to celebrate and educate about BSL and ISL, to encourage more people to start learning it.
